The group draws considerable financial strength through its ownership structure: Owners of the NORD/LB Group are the states of Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt (50% combined), and local savings banks of Lower Saxony , Saxony-Anhalt and Mecklenburg Western-Pommerania and the associations of Local Savings Banks.
