History
NORD/LB started out its North American operations in 1991. Since the inception of the New York branch, NORD/LB has achieved substantial growth in size and market share, and has developed a wide range of financial product and service offerings for clients in various industries.
Headquartered in Hannover, NORD/LB has grown to be Germany's tenth largest financial institution, and our roots go back to 1765.The bank's new unguaranteed ratings remain strong with long-term credit ratings of Aa2 (Moody's) and A (S&P and Fitch), and short-term ratings of P-1 (Moody's), A-1 (S&P) and F-1 (Fitch). As of December 31, 2006, our total assets exceeded $200 billion (€ 203 bn) , and we had 5,560 employees.
